GRAZIE ALLA NASCITA DI GESU
Nel mondo attuale dove è presente la fioritura delle correnti di pensiero in ospitali ai pensieri cristiani, dove l’uomo postmoderno si è lasciato trasportare via dai pensieri postmoderni che tendono a costruire e decostruire allo stesso tempo, dove l’uomo con la tecnologia pensa d’essere alla cima della piramide della realtà, dove il nichilismo è il nuovo evangelo, e quindi proclama “la nullità e la assurdità”; “la nullità di Dio e di conseguenza la nullità dell’uomo”, dove la povertà ha lasciato le rughe nel volto dell’uomo, dove la corruzione è stata normalizzata e la politica è diventato un business privato, dove il consumismo e il materialismo sono la doppia realtà che definisce la festa Natalizia; dinanzi a questi pensieri anomali che lasciano l’uomo inquieto,ci si può chiedere: Qual è il senso di Natale? Dove c’è il posto per Gesù nel mondo cosi imbevuto nella cultura di morte? A tutto queste domande che tendono a scuotere il fondamento dell’essere dell’uomo vorrei rivolgermi al pensiero di D.Bonhoeffer nel suo libro “Resistenza e Resa”. Lui sostiene: “ In verità le cose stanno in questo modo; se la terra è stata fatta degna di sostenere i passi dell’uomo Gesù Cristo, se è vissuto un uomo come Gesù, allora e solo allora per noi uomini vivere ha senso” E sotto questo profilo, c’è ancora speranza nella persona di Dio fatto Uomo, Emmanuele- Dio con noi, e Dio che ci può riscattare. E solo Lui può cambiare questa situazione drammatica. La sua nascita è piena delle benedizioni. In seguito il senso di Natale sta nel Bimbo Gesù che nasce. E solo lui può salvarci. Per questo Matteo proclama “egli verrà chiamato Gesù perché egli salverà il suo popolo dai loro peccati.(1:21)
L’umanità ha bisogno di connettersi a Lui per restare saldo di fronte a queste realtà che gli circondano. Infatti, soltanto un ritorno a Lui, soltanto chi partecipa di Lui può sussistere e vincere. Egli è il centro di tutto, e tutto ruota intorno a Lui. Per questo San Paolo afferma che tutte le cose saranno ricapitolate in lui.(Ef. 1:10).
Concludo con lo scritto dello stesso autore Nel racconta dell’Anticristo di Solov’ev, si narra che negli ultimi giorni prima del ritorno di Cristo i capi delle chiese perseguitate discutono quale sia per ciascuno di loro, l’elemento più prezioso del cristianesimo. Nella risposta conclusiva si afferma che la cosa più preziosa nel cristianesimo è Gesù. E per questa inaudita particolarità del cristianesimo ti auguro un vero Buon Natale. La sua persona è la ragione della nostra gioia. Grazie alla sua nascita perché egli è la chiave interpretativa della storia dell’uomo. Grazie alla sua nascita perché egli è il Mediatore per eccellenza, il ponte che unisce i cieli e la terra. Dove l’immortalità e la mortalità si toccano nell’amore.

THANKS TO THE BIRTH OF JESUS
THANKS TO THE BIRTH OF JESUS!!!
In a world like ours where some currents of thoughts that are inhospitable to Christian values are flourishing, where the post-modern man left himself to be carried away by post-modern thoughts that tend to construct and deconstruct at the same time, where man with his technological breakthroughs takes himself to be at the topmost part of the pyramid of reality, where nihilism is the new gospel, and therefore proclaims the “gospel of Nothingness” the nothingness of God and consequently the nothingness of man, where poverty has left indelible marks on the face of man, where corruption has been normalized and politics has been turned to a private business; where Christmas has been reduced to consumism and materialism, in front of all these anomalies that render the contemporary man restless, one may be forced to ask himself: what is the sense of Christmas? Where is the place for Christ in a world that has been soaked in the so-called culture of death? To all these questions that are shaking the foundation of the being of man, I would like to pitch a tenth with D. Bonhoeffer in his book “Resistenza e Resa”, where he maintains “ In truth things are in this way, if the earth was made worthy to sustain the steps of the Man-Jesus Christ, if a man like Jesus lived in this earth, then and only then for us men living has meaning”. And incumbent on the above, there is still hope for humanity in the person of God made man, Emmanuel-God with us. He alone can change this present dramatic situation. His birth is a reality always beaming with blessings. As such the sense of Christmas lies on the Child that is Born, not on the festivities. Only He can save us. For according to Mathew 1:23 His name will be called Jesus for he will save his people from their sins.
Humanity is in need again to connect itself to him, in order to remain unshakeable in front of all these bitter realities that surround him. As a matter of fact, only a U-turn back to Him, only the one who participates in Him can resist and win. He is the centre of all, and all revolves around Him. For this St. Paul affirms that all things will be recapitulated in Him(cf. Ef.1:10).
In all, I would like to draw the curtain here once again with D. Bonhoeffer “ In the story of the Antichrist of Solov’ev, narrates that in the last days before the return of Christ all the heads of the persecuted churches were discussing what is for each one of them the most precious element in Christianity. In the conclusive answer it was affirmed that the “Thing” most precious in Christianity is Jesus Christ. And really for this incomparable particularity of Christianity, I wish you really a Happy Xmas and a prosperous New Year. His person is the cause for joy.
